Clearfield sunflowers are a hybrid sunflower variety that can be used for wildlife food plots and conservation. They are part of the Clearfield Production System, which combines high-yielding seeds with herbicides for weed control.
Wildlife attractant: Clearfield sunflowers are often used to attract doves.
Herbicide control: Clearfield sunflowers can be treated with herbicides like IMOX or Beyond after seeding, in addition to pre-emergent herbicides
Disease resistance: Treated varieties are treated with chemicals to protect them from common diseases
Plant seeds 3/4 to 1.5 inches deep at 5 lbs per acre.
